Tommy McLain started his musical career while still in high school at Pineville, Louisiana, when he and his trio played night clubs in the Central Louisiana area. In 1965, he first recorded his version of "Sweet Dreams" on a borrowed tape recorder, and had 500 45rpm copies pressed up. In 1966, it reached the Top 15 Best Seller's List nationally, and he's been performing this same blend of Country, Cajun, Blues, and Rock & Roll, called SWAMP POP, ever since. Released in 1997, 20 tracks, including:
