Cajun music made its live debut when the Mamou Cajun Band (Cyp & Adam Landreneau) played at the National Folk Festival in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1957. Cyprien is my Great-Grandfather. The sound quality on this disk isn't the greatest, but it reminds me of times when he used to play his accordion for us when we were kids visiting at his home. Brings back memories.
