Don Fontenot et Les amis de la Louisiane - Ride the Donkey CD

When Don Fontenot & his friends began to kick around ideas for their new CD, they wanted to make something to be proud to present to Cajun music lovers everywhere. In addition to the traditional-style Cajun music which is their forte, they also wanted to include a share of Zydeco and South Louisiana "Swamp Pop" music to provide an accurate taste of what Les amis de la Louisiane is all about. In addition, they wanted to include a song which reflected their fellowship and great sense of humor, which is how the title track "Ride the Donkey" came to be.
